- In Sony's last fiscal year (April 2013-March 2014), it managed
to sell 14.6 million PlayStation consoles (PS3 & PS4). Sony
sold about 7 million PS4 as of April, Sony apparently sold about 7
million PS3s as well. Sales toward handheld (PSP & Vitas)
devices summed 4.1 million in sales. In his fiscal year, (April
2014-March 2015) Sony wants to sell 17 million Playstation consoles
and only 3.5 million handhelds.

- The newest consoles gobble more energy in standby mode and when
showing videos than playing games, over a year.
- Almost half of the Xbox One’s annual energy consumption occurs
when no one is using it, but it’s listening for users to say “Xbox
